Our Team

Pellin Danilo, Ph.D. Principal Investigator

Danilo is a Principal Investigator of the Gene Therapy Program, the lead of the Pellin Lab and a faculty member at Harvard medical School. He holds a PhD in Stochastic Modeling from the University of Groningen (NL) and San Raffaele University of Milan (IT), where he was supervised by Prof. Ernst Wit and Prof. Clelia Di Serio. He also received a B.Sc in Statistics and Computer Science for Business Administration from Ca' Foscari University (Venice, IT), a Master's in Bioinformatics from the University of Turin (IT), and an M.Sc. in Applied Statistics and Biostatistics from the University of Milano Bicocca (IT). During his graduate studies, Danilo had the opportunity to work at the University Center for Statistics in the Biomedical Sciences (CUSSB) at Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele Milano, where he gained extensive experience in modeling and analyzing data in the field of gene therapy and genomics.
Danilo is deeply passionate about biology and constantly seeks to learn about new technologies and their applications in research and clinical settings. His overarching goal is to develop innovative quantitative tools that enhance our understanding of biology, while also igniting the same passion in his collaborators and trainees.
